Music to me is all about energy.
It's about the smiles on people's faces and the way they move. It's about wonderful memories, new and old. It's about singing along to the chorus together - and laughing as nobody remembers the second verse.
I love to sing. I love the opportunity to bring and express positive energy through music. Being part of your wedding is a privilege and my goal is to provide the perfect soundtrack, through every part of the day.
I grew up and got my professional music start in Canada, what seems like many lifetimes ago. I'm a songwriter and have always been involved with bands and solo projects. With SaMeDi I have the opportunity to play great music with a great friend, helping people to celebrate their love. What a gift.

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and raised on the island of Mozambique. Inspired by the vibrant rhythms of African music and the smooth melodies of Brazilian Bossa-Nova I decided at just 14 years old to make a career out of music.
My passion is for creating music that transcends borders and unites people from all walks of life.
My music is a fusion of cultures and traditions, with infectious rhythms that keep audiences dancing all night long.
